{"id":10617,"date":"2022-06-01T09:10:11","date_gmt":"2022-06-01T07:10:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.camping-chaille-les-marais.com\/100-nature-experience\/day-3-discovery-of-the-bay-of-aiguillon-sur-mer\/"},"modified":"2023-12-18T16:35:26","modified_gmt":"2023-12-18T15:35:26","slug":"day-3-discovery-of-the-bay-of-aiguillon-sur-mer","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.camping-chaille-les-marais.com\/en\/100-nature-experience\/day-3-discovery-of-the-bay-of-aiguillon-sur-mer\/","title":{"rendered":"Day 3 : Discovery of the Bay of Aiguillon sur Mer"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For this new stage, we take you to the Bay of Aiguillon sur Mer.  <br\/>From the campsite, it will take you about 40 minutes to reach La Faute sur Mer.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For this new day, which promises to be rich in emotions, plan as usual to prepare a tasty picnic, to take liters of water, not to forget towels and bathing suits and to dress warmly in the morning.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You think this is a joke, that a sweater in the middle of summer is not appropriate&#8230; Think again, where we take you the sea air is fresh and invigorating.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">First option<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\n  <em>Discover <a href=\"https:\/\/www.camping-chaille-les-marais.com\/la-peche\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"457\">sea fishing<\/a> with Andr\u00e9<\/em>\n<\/strong>the local commander Cousteau.  <br\/>You will embark at 8:00 a.m. (be careful, depending on the tides, the schedule may change) on board the<strong>\n  <em>Aphrodite<\/em>\n<\/strong>a traditional fishing yacht, and join the fishy waters of the Pertuis Breton (sea bass, mackerel, etc.).  <br\/>You may have to be patient before you can reel in some good catches, but if you listen to Andr\u00e9&#8217;s advice, we&#8217;re willing to bet you won&#8217;t come back empty-handed.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If so, you may be able to prepare a nice little dish when you return&#8230;<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A recipe idea comes to mind and brings back a delicious memory to my taste buds.  <br\/>Let me introduce you to this recipe.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"has-blue-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>A tandoori spiced lean meat tartar with lime flavored cream.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s so good and refreshing when you put it that way!  <br\/><\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-7387b849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ingredients (4 people):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>400 g of lean meat (we really hope that the fishermen will have done the job)<\/li><li>1 lemon juice<\/li><li>1\/2 red bell pepper<\/li><li>1\/2 yellow bell pepper<\/li><li>1 shallot<\/li><li>1\/2 bunch of chives<\/li><li>Olive oil<\/li><li>Tandoori spices<\/li><li>Salt and Espelette pepper<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>For the lime sour cream:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>12 cl of fresh cream<\/li><li>1 lime juice<\/li><li>Lime zest<\/li><\/ul><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recipe Preparation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>For the tartar :<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Cut the lean meat into small cubes, taking care to remove the blood vein<\/li><li>Chop shallot and chives<\/li><li>Peel and dice the peppers<\/li><li>Squeeze the lemon<\/li><li>Add olive oil and seasoning. A fauna and a flora easily observable, undulating dunes and harmoniously drawn by the wind, bewitching sandbanks&#8230; We are waiting impatiently to collect your impressions because in general this walk does not leave anyone insensitive.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Information on the course :<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-plain is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Duration: 2h30 to go and 2h30 back (it is mandatory to come back by the same way)  <br\/>Distance : 11,9 km  <br\/>Departure : Parking du Puits in La Faute sur Mer<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>IMPORTANT :<\/strong> check the tide schedule because this hike is only possible at low tide.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Picnic under the pines and lazing on the beach&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is said that the sea air has the reputation of opening the appetite. You will tell us, if you return from your fishing trip or your hike, if you give credence to this belief.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s time to sit down and find a place to eat (some may prefer to unfold a napkin and have a picnic in the shade of a tree).<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>To know:<\/strong> At the level of the Boulevard de la For\u00eat, between the Barrique beach (rue des Dunes) and the Chardons beach (avenue des Chardons), you will find 25 tables placed in the pine forest.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let time pass and enjoy these moments of calm and serenity&#8230;<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reading on the beach and sunbathing, diving in the waves and salty swimming, frisbee or beach volleyball for the wise, colorful kite in the sky and ephemeral sand castle, no doubt you will find in this corner of paradise something to keep you busy.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you return from your trip to La Faute sur Mer, and if you still have some energy left, you can<strong> reserve a table at the restaurant &#8220;Un air de famille&#8221;<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In my opinion, they have the best galettes in the Vend\u00e9e (on a par with the restaurant Le R\u00e9cif in Saint Gilles Croix de Vie).<\/p>\n\t\t\t<div
