The Marais Poitevin and the Venise Verte

The Poitou marshes are a listed site where you can discover a unique and amazing landscape featuring canals, fertile hedged farmlands, local specialities and authentic festivities.
If you love nature, the marshes are the ideal setting to observe it and recharge your batteries as you travel the length and breadth of its many waterways or paths.
Pleasure, fresh air, a change of scenery... you will be charmed by the authenticity!
From the piers, set out for a walk in the shade of the pollard arshes, through this maze of water and greenery. There, you will catch whispers of the history and legends of the Poitou marshes.

La Rochelle

Chaillé Les Marais is 30 minutes from La Rochelle, its sea-front, old-town and aquarium.

The sandy sunny beaches

The campsite is located at 30 minutes from the Baie de L'Aiguillon natural park, and the sandy beaches of La Faute sur Mer and La Tranche sur Mer.
